Company You Keep is a independent record label started in Malmo, Sweden in August, 2011 from meager yet honest beginnings. We came together under  a common goal to develop music that we feel deserves more attention in Scandinavia. Our goal is to offer a platform to artists supporting their releases, booking/touring needs, and promotional aspects. We feel this is a unique approach in todays music world, where many record labels are simply releasing music.  Our belief in championing music that is fringe in sound and scope and generally remains underground led us to our first discovery and signing of an American folk songwriter named, Peter Kasen. Peter has toured almost non stop in America, as well as Europe since 2005 as a  "do it yourself" artist. He seems to never stop moving. Upon Peter coming to Europe,  we booked his Scandinavia tour dates in the fall and winter of 2011, in Copenhagen, Goteborg, Karlstad, Stockholm, Malmo, Linkoping, and more.  Our first release, CYK - 01, Peter Kasen,  "Veer ", was issued to Sweden on October 7th in both digital, and physical/CD formats. This is a limited pressing for Scandinavia of 100 copies, it is a re release.
